Marathon Training Week 16, Fall Shows, and a Confession

I have a confession: I’m tired of running. This probably isn’t a shocker if you have read my previous posts. The sad thing is, I love to run.

About a mile into my runs, I’m in love with it again, but sitting here thinking about running… ugh. The great news is this is my last “hard” week. I start tapering next week, and I cannot wait.

I have also realized I would rather run 4 days a week, instead of the 5 days I’m running now, and follow a loose plan. Last week’s training went according to plan, except I took off Saturday.

Monday- Rest

Tuesday- 4 miles easy run

Wednesday- 7 miles with 5 miles at marathon pace

Thursday- Rest

Friday- 8.3 miles with 10 hill repeats at a nearby parking garage

Saturday- Rest

Sunday- Long run 15 miles

This Sunday is my last long run with 22 miles scheduled. My fingers are crossed it goes well.

I watched the season premier of FX’s Sons of Anarchy… WOW!!! That show is so crazy; I love it. I cannot imagine living such a chaotic and dangerous life.

I<3 Jax.

Another favorite show of mine premiered, Bravo’s Flipping Out. This group is insanely funny. I don’t think I could ever work for Jeff, but I love to watch the drama.

I love fall.

Have a great day.

Any favorite shows starting this fall?

  1. I love Flipping Out. I need to set the TIVO!
I have a love/hate relationship with running, too. Toeing the start line always reminds me why I love running so much!
