Strawberry Banana Super Smoothie
I made this delicious Strawberry Banana Super Smoothie for breakfast today. This was the first time making a smoothie with spinach and I have to say it was really tasty. I don’t know what took me so long to make this drink. I know the picture doesn’t look too great, this was the one spot on my carpet where I had a tiny bit of natural light, but I promise it is good.
I used approximately 2 cups of spinach, 3/4 of a frozen banana, 5 strawberries, 1/4 cup of skim milk, 3/4 scoop of Metabolic Drive Low Carb Protein Powder and 1/2 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds. I put the ingredients in a food processor and pulsed it until it was blended. A great alternative to the skim milk is unsweetened almond milk. Unsweetened almond milk has less calories and sugar.
