My daughter does not like fruit. I keep offering her fruit and she keeps pushing it away. Instead of wasting the fruit I served for breakfast and lunch, I decided to find a way to make it taste good to her.
I placed the discarded banana and peaches in the freezer and decided to use them to make banana faux ice cream for an afternoon snack.
Toddler Banana Peach Faux Ice Cream (1 1/4 cups)
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup whole milk
4 frozen peach slices
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
My daughter loved her faux ice cream and enthusiastically ate it all. I will continue to offer her fresh fruit, but at least now I have found a backup solution for the fruit she doesn’t eat.
Have you ever tried banana faux ice cream? If so, what is your favorite flavor?
